Airborne Law Enforcement Assn.’s (ALEA) Expo has begun in Reno, Nevada, and will run until Saturday. Here are some items for Dallas Avionics, Curtiss-Wright, Heli-One, AeroBrigham, and Robertson Fuel Systems and Vector Aerospace that you might want to check out while you’re there:

Dallas Avionics is showing TracPlus’ RockAir System at booth 406 — the two recently signed a dealership agreement. RockAir is a connectivity device that features cellular messaging, satellite messaging, GPS tracking and Bluetooth capability. The device also has a low-profile glare-shield and is night vision goggle-compatible. RockAir can be powered by USB or using aircraft power.

Curtiss-Wright is bringing its video management system to booth 314. The company said it decreases size, weight and power, and it reduces cabling complexity and cost. It is a solution for the whole video processing chain.

Heli-One Canada (booth 201) is celebrating its 10th anniversary of servicing Turbomeca/Safran Helicopter Engines Arriel engines. To mark the occasion, the company is holding a giveaway. Heli-One had limited edition challenge coins created, and is giving a few away to people who enter. Click here for your chance to win! The drawing will be done Aug. 31.

AeroBrigham LLC (booth 106) is now the exclusive North American distributor of the Swiss Rotor Solutions Max Pilot View Kit (MPVK) for the Airbus Helicopters AS350, AeroBrigham said. The company said the kit offers improvement in the overall headroom at the upper doorframe. With no airspeed limitation, the product improves vertical visibility by a factor of 10, the company said.

Robertson Fuel Systems (booth 351) and Vector Aerospace (booth 336) are displaying a crash-resistant fuel tank at Robertson Fuel Systems’ booth. The two parties have started flight tests of its Airbus Helicopters AS350 crash-resistant fuel tank at Vector’s Langley, British Columbia, Canada, facility.
