The US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation held a hearing on the 18th entitled "Drug Safety: Strengthening Innovation and Reducing Supply Chain Risks". Dajiang Innovation Company said in an open letter that unless the drone operator chooses actively, the DJI drone will not share the user's flight records, photos or videos; the DJI drone will not automatically transmit the flight data to China. On May 20th, the US Department of Homeland Security also issued a data security warning for Chinese-made drones. The latest public letter states that the US Department of Homeland Security's guidelines on mitigating the risk of sensitive task data management are consistent with DJI's innovative safety practices, and the company's global engineering team will actively promote safety measures.


A spokesperson for the Dajiang Innovation Company also confirmed to the Xinhua News Agency that the New York Times reported on the 24th that Dajiang Innovation set up a UAV production line in the United States. DJI Innovation conducted assembly testing at an after-sales service center in Cerritos, Calif., in January this year. After obtaining approval from relevant US authorities, it is expected to transform this into the first assembly line outside Shenzhen, China.
