On July 15, the Yangxin County Defense Department asked the Hubei Provincial Emergency Management Department for help to urgently block the breach of the Kuisai Lake in the Fuhe River Mainstream Lizhou Management District. The Provincial Emergency Management Department dispatched 3 helicopters from Hannan Airport to the scene.
On the 16th, three planes arrived over the breach one after another. It is understood that the Provincial Emergency Department has 2 emergency rescue helicopters (M-171, AW109) and 3 fixed-wing aircraft at Hannan Airport. The Emergency Department has an emergency rescue helicopter (M-8) at Wudangshan Airport. From July 1st to September 30th, in response to the flood situation, the Emergency Department sent two additional emergency rescue helicopters (AS-350, M-26) to station at Hannan Airport.
