The latest version of Airbus’s best-selling H145 light twin-engine helicopter debuted at the Atlanta Helicopter Expo in 2019. This latest upgrade brings a new and innovative five-blade rotor system to the multi-purpose H145 helicopter, which increases the helicopter's payload by 150 kg. The simplicity of the new bearingless main rotor design also simplifies maintenance operations, further improving the maintenance and reliability benchmarks of the H145 helicopter, and also improving the comfort of passengers and crew. The high tail beam and large clamshell hatch of the H145 helicopter make it easier for passengers to enter and exit its spacious cabin.

H145 helicopter is powered by two Safran Arriel 2E engines, equipped with full authority digital engine control (FADEC) and Helionix avionics system, its high-performance four-axis self-driving system can improve safety and reduce pilot workload. In addition, the extremely low noise level of the H145 makes it the quietest helicopter in its class.

At present, Airbus has more than 1,470 H145 series helicopters in service all over the world, with a cumulative flight of more than 6 million flight hours.
