A few days ago, the Bailong General Airport construction project started in Bailong Town, Feidong County. It is expected to achieve its first flight in early 2022. After completion, it will become the flagship general airport in Anhui Province for the integration of the Yangtze River Delta.

As the A1 general airport with the largest scale and the most complete facilities in our province, the project has a total investment of 460 million yuan and covers an area of 643 acres. The project plans to construct two parts: the flight area and the terminal area. The length of the runway in the flight area is 1,200 meters, and the long-term (2050) planning and construction of the runway in the flight area is 2,000 meters.

After the completion of the airport, it is planned to carry out short-distance transportation, aviation training, aviation logistics, emergency rescue, scientific research and test flights, agriculture and forestry operations, sightseeing tours, aviation parachuting, aviation sports, aviation science and other services to meet the needs of Hefei's general aviation industry project landing support and regional general aviation flights The demand for security will achieve full coverage of emergency rescue and urban public services in Hefei.
