The reporter learned from the Hainan Jinlin Group on August 17 that the first "zero-tariff" imported aircraft from Hainan Free Trade Port will arrive at Jinlin Haikou Jiazi Airport on the afternoon of August 18, and will complete its installation, commissioning, and delivery operations.

This "zero-tariff" aircraft was introduced by Hainan Haizhi General Aviation Co., Ltd., which operates at Jinlin Haikou Jiazi General Airport. The company is registered in Airport Industrial Park, Jiangdong New District, Haikou City. It is reported that during the import process of the AW109E helicopter, tariffs and import value-added tax are exempted from 613,000 yuan, and the reduction is about 15%. This indicates that the Hainan Free Trade Port's "zero-tariff" imported vehicles and yachts have achieved full coverage of land, sea and air.

Jinlin Haikou Jiazi General Airport is the first public general airport in Hainan Free Trade Port. With the support of various preferential policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port, the Provincial Jinlin Group has fully created a good business environment, provided preferential conditions and service guarantees for the operation of resident enterprises, and attracted a number of general aviation including Hainan Express and Ruichi General Aviation. Enterprises are stationed to carry out low-altitude sightseeing, business charter flights, license training, general aviation surveying and mapping, aviation emergency rescue and other operations. As of May 2021, Hainan General Aviation's aircraft carried out 146,800 sorties, a year-on-year increase of 414%; the total number of flying hours was 15,100 hours, a year-on-year increase of 133%, helping Hainan to become one of the most active regions for general aviation in the country.
