On November 10, the Transportation Department of the Civil Aviation Administration issued a notice on soliciting opinions on the "Working Procedures for Joint Verification of General Aviation Operation Permits and Operation Permits (Draft for Solicitation of Comments)".

The notice pointed out that in order to implement the State Council’s “decentralization, regulation and service” requirements, optimize the general aviation business environment, and stimulate market vitality, since 2017, the Civil Aviation Administration has successively approved pilots for joint verification of general aviation operating permits and operating permits in the Northeast and Central South regions. The pilot work has achieved good results, shortened the time limit for license approval, and improved the efficiency of enterprise start-up operations. In order to consolidate the pilot experience, the Department of Transportation organized the preparation of the "Working Procedures for the Joint Verification of General Aviation Operation Permits and Operation Permits (Draft for Solicitation of Comments)", which will be issued in the form of administrative normative documents.
