According to a report by TASS News Agency (TASS) on December 21, Russian Minister of Industry Denis Manturov (Denis Manturov) stated that Russia plans to start production of turboprop airliners in 2025.
Currently, 19 L-410 aircraft produced in Yekaterinburg have been delivered to operators in order to expand the regional route network. The Minister of Industry pointed out that Russia plans to start production of 9 Baikal airliners in 2023 and 44 turboprop airliners in 2025.
