We started WaterWings with our Cessna 150/150 on straight floats.    It served us well and we taught hundreds of pilots the art of float flying.   Eventually we got the opportunity to fly and own an Aviat Husky on amphibious Wipline floats.    The Husky is so much more versatile in the real world with better useful load, more open cockpit,  better water performance, and the ability to land at and be stored at an airport, it became the plane that everyone wanted to fly.   I still own and love the Cessna 150/150, but it gets to live life at my lake house as a personal plane now.
