  • This kit is a 1:12 scale, flying model of the aircraft designed for the US Army Air Corps as a primary trainer. This rugged monoplane debuted in 1939 during World War II under the PT-19 and PT-26 Cornell designations. The PT 19 with an open cockpit and the PT 26 Cornell with an enclosed cockpit were used by both US and Canadian air forces to train pilots for WWII. Originally known as Fairchild M62. This kit is a superb contest proven lightweight flying model with multiple trophies.

This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size rolled CAD drawn plan, building and flying instructions, competition weight laser cut balsa parts, color coded balsa strip wood, FAI rubber motor, 12" EB propeller, EBM thrust bearing, clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing gear wire, TissueCal™ markings and LaserCal™ precut registration markings, and Easy Built Lite tissue in classic medium navy blue and yellow. The design includes an option for making the wing removable for ease of transporting to the flight line. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
