The Taylor Cub was designed by C. Gilbert Taylor, first flown in September 1930. It was the precursor to the Piper Cub. This kit is a 1:23 scale, flying model. This pre-1942 design is eligible for Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size rolled plan, building and flying instructions, LASER CUT balsa parts and hand-picked balsa strip wood, rubber motor, E-B propeller, EBM thrust bearing, clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing gear wire, and Easy Built Lite tissue in a variety of appropriate colors. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, pliers and glue.
