  • Description
  • Designed by Austrian Igo Etrich, the Taube is a bird shaped aircraft from the early days of flight. It was used by the Germans in WWI for reconnaissance and training. Etrich's first Taube was built in 1910, a precursor of the nimble fighters of WWI. This kit is a model of the most widely produced version, the 1913 two-seat military monoplane.

This display model kit contains a full-size rolled plan, building instructions, LASER CUT balsa parts, hand-picked balsa strip wood, dowels, wire, LaserCal™ markings, and Easy Built Lite tissue in linen. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue. The builder determines the level of detail for this model and may need to supply additional materials.
