  • Your instruction in the classroom as well as in the air is always one on one with the same instructor, This saves you time and money.  We are a Part 61 flight school.  This allows you to train at your pace.  Our proven syllabus is modular in nature, working on building blocks to develop knowledge and safe flying habits.

    A minimum of 40 hours of flight training is required by the FAA for your Private Pilot Certification.  Per the FAR-AIM this is to include:

    At least 20 hours with a flight instructor

    10 hours of solo flight in the area of operations (Basic flight manuevers)

    3 hours of night flight training

    10 takeoffs and landing to a full stop

    3 hours of cross-country flight training

    1 cross-country flight at night over 100 nm distance

    3 hours of control and manuevering of an aircraft solely by reference to instruments and         unusual flight attitudes

    10 hours of solo time including: 5 hours of solo cross-country time, one cross-country flight of at least 150 nm total distance with full stops at 3 different airports and one segment of at least 50 nm

    3 take offs and landing to a full stop at a controlled towered airport

    3 hours of flight training in preparation for the Practical Test
