How much will it cost to earn my commercial pilot's certificate?

The cost of earning a commercial pilot certificate varies from person-to-person. The Federal Aviation Administration has set a minimum of 250 hours of flight time experience to earn your commercial pilot's certificate. The 250 hour requirement can be met by using several different methods to gain this experience, but the most common is to rent an aircraft from a flight school. Because everyone has a difference amount of flight time starting his or her commercial certificate from private pilot and instrument rating training, cost of completing the commercial certificate will be relative to this previous experience. Please refer to rental equipment cost list to calculate an approximate cost of completing commercial training.
