This certificate allows you to carry passengers, but you will not be able to fly for compensation or hire without further training and certification. Additional category and class ratings are available.

Prerequisites: The student must have a valid student pilot certificate and current third-class medical certificate prior his or her solo flight. You must be at least 17 years old.
