Our aircraft engine cylinder shop offers our customers repair and overhaul capabilities for their cylinder needs. Our state-of-the-art honing and boring machine precision grinds the aircraft cylinder barrel to exacting standards and trueness while automatically holding the required tapered choke for the cylinder. Seats are precision ground and valves are lapped into place. Pneumatic and liquid testing is accomplished for assurance of optimum seating. Special attention is given to proper spring tensions and heights to maximize the performance of the cylinder. The piston rings are sized to fit the barrel and installed providing the customer a trouble-free installation.
CYLINDER POLICIES
Cylinder Core Return Policy
Cylinder Cores must be returned within 30 days of the date of the invoice to receive full credit. Cores received after the 30 days and up to 60 days of the invoice date will be discounted 25% of the core value. Cores received after 60 days and up to 90 days of the invoice date will be discounted 50% of the core value. If the cylinder core is returned after 90 days, it will be at the discretion of the management whether to accept or not. These policies are in effect, as Airmark has to purchase cores to replenish their stock if not returned by the customer in a timely manner. If a returned core is un-repairable the core credit will be adjusted accordingly.
Cylinder Merchandise Return Policy
Airmark will accept the return of a cylinder with the following conditions:
The cylinder must have been originally purchased through Airmark.
The cylinder must be returned with a copy of the original invoice.
The cylinder must be returned in the original box and packing.
The cylinder must be returned in the original condition.
The cylinder must not have been installed.
The cylinder must be returned within 30 days from the date of the original invoice.
The cylinder must be sent freight pre-paid.
The cylinder returned will be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.
Cylinder Payment Policy
once a cylinder is invoiced, payment is due. Airmark reserves the right to take possession of any unpaid items left at our Repair Station for over 60 days in exchange for services rendered.
Limited Cylinder Warranty Policy
Airmark Overhaul, Inc. warrants that Overhauled Cylinders to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 6 months from the date of sale. Airmark Overhaul, Inc. warrants that Repaired Cylinders to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 30 days from the date of sale. The cylinder must be returned for warranty within 30 days from the date of the failure and must be returned in as removed condition. The warranty cylinder must be returned with Airmark's Warranty Return Form. The cylinder must have been installed and operated in accordance with the original manufactures recommended procedures. Upon installation of the cylinder, the installing agency assumes all liabilities for the proper installation and operation of the cylinder. The cylinder must not have been disassembled, repaired or altered in any way without Airmark's prior written authorization. The duration of this Limited Cylinder Warranty shall not be extended beyond the original warranty period for reason of repair or replacement of the cylinder. The customer is responsible for the return of the warranty cylinder. The repair or replacement of the cylinder is at the sole discretion of Airmark Overhaul, Inc. In no event, whether as a result of a breach of contract, warranty, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, shall Airmark Overhaul, Inc. be liable for any special consequential, incidental or penal damages or expenses, including but not limited to loss of profit, goodwill, or revenues, loss of use of the product or any associated equipment, damage to associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of trouble-shooting, cost of third parties for such damages or expenses. The foregoing Limited Cylinder Warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties or remedies whether written, oral, implied, or statutory. Any and all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, course of dealing or usage of trade are hereby expressly disclaimed and excluded.
