Airbus unveiled the first A350 XWB for China Airlines via its social account, adding the aircraft is getting ready for its maiden flight in the coming weeks.

The manufacturer said in mid-June that the delivery of the A350 aircraft has been delayed from July to the end of September.

China Airlines' A350 is configured with 306 seats in three cabin classes, including Premium Business (32 seats), Premium Economy (31 seats) and Economy Class (243 seats) with Family Couch.

As previously reported, China Airlines amended its A350 operations with the inaugural service to operate on Taipei Taoyuan-Hong Kong route on October 30, 2016. The Taipei-based carrier plans to begin flying the new A350 aircraft to Amsterdam, Rome and Vienna in December.

The airline has 14 A350-900s on order, which will join the 10 Boeing 777-300ER as the mainstays of China Airlines' long-haul services. Besides, all of its 14 A350s will bear a special livery, 14 rare birds found only in Taiwan.
