The 300th NHIndustries NH90 was handed over to the Spanish Armed Forces, the manufacturer said. On Dec. 15, the aircraft was delivered, designated for the Spanish Army’s aviation branch, Fuerzas Aeromóviles del Ejército de Tierra (FAMET). The aircraft was assembled at the Airbus Helicopters Spanish final assembly line at Albacete, Spain.

Spain became an NHIndustries NH90 customer in 2007. The military has used the airfraft for missions like transport, special operations, medevac, and combat search and rescue. With military operators in 13 countries, 515 NHIndustries NH90s have been delivered. More than 12,000 operational flight hours have been logged.
