Lucky Air has opened an MRO hangar at Kunming Changshui International Airport, marking the airline's first hangar and its parent HNA Group's first hangar in Southwest China.


The hangar, covering 9,710 square meters, is capable of handling 1.5 single narrow-body aircraft.

Lucky Air's hangar No. 1 completed its first maintenance work on December 16, which involved the layout modification of a Boeing 737-800.

The Kunming-based carrier operates 9 Airbus A320 family aircraft, and 26 Boeing 737NGs.
