Harrods Aviation has earned EASA ba
se maintenance approval for the
Bombardier Challenger 300 series at its Lo
ndon Luton facility. The location has accumulated extensive experience on the type, havin held line maintenance approval on the supermidsize jet for more than a decade.
In respo
nse to the new certification, the company, which offers
FBO and maintenance services at Lo
ndon Luton and Stansted airports, has invested in additio
nal tooling, equipment and staff training to ensure the quality of its support.
“Our staff at the Lo
ndon Luton facility is very skilled on the Bombardier product and has vast experience on the Global Express, Challenger 604 and Challenger 605, and the Challenger 650 types,” said John Bool, Harrods’ technical director. “By adding the Challenger 300 series, we can now offer a comprehensive service on this series of aircraft within the Bombardier fleet.”
