Recently, Henan Province was hit by large-scale extreme heavy rainfall, floods occurred in some areas, and communications in many villages in Mihe Town, Gongyi City were interrupted. On July 21, the Ministry of Emergency Management urgently dispatched the Pterosaur UAV aerial emergency communication platform to fly across the region for a long-distance flight. It took 4.5 hours to reach Gongyi City and entered the communication interruption zone of Mihe Town at 18:21, using Pterosaur unmanned aircraft. The mobile public network base station carried by the air-to-air emergency communication platform has realized a long-term and stable continuous mobile signal coverage of about 50 square kilometers.
The "Pterosaur"-2H emergency-response UAV system is a national emergency communication force created by the aviation industry for the Ministry of Emergency Management. It can restore 50 square kilometers of mobile public network communications and establish an audio and video communication network covering 15,000 square kilometers. In response to the "three disconnections" in the disaster area, through the integration of aerial networking, high-point relay and other technologies, the horizontal interconnection of images, voices, and data can be realized.
