On December 26, the large-scale firefighting/water rescue amphibious aircraft AG600 "Kunlong" 1003, independently developed by the aviation industry, was finally assembled in Zhuhai, marking the official completion of the installation of the aircraft body structure and on-board system. It has fully entered the stage of ground joint debugging and joint testing, and the project development has made another major progress.

The 1003 AG600 aircraft officially entered the final assembly stage on June 24. It took 186 days to complete the three-section fuselage docking, wing body docking, vertical tail fuselage docking, engine nacelle installation, and propeller installation. And a number of key tests such as pressurized cabin, power and environmental control system air tightness test, hydraulic system pressure test, avionics system conduction of the whole aircraft, and many other key tests, according to the planned nodes, the aircraft assembly was successfully taken off the plane with high quality.
The AG600 aircraft will carry out the iron bird test, the whole aircraft static test, the whole aircraft resonance test, the servo resilience test and the first flight safety test of each airborne system. The first flight will be achieved in 2022.
