A unique aircraft has been creating a buzz at the Hollister Airport.

It's believed to be a prototype of a "flying car," according to NBC affiliate KSBW, though details are purposely being kept under wraps.

Mountain View's Zee.Aero Inc. has signed a 34-year lease at the Hollister Airport in San Benito County to build a base of operations, KSBW reported.

A patent for the "personal aircraft" was first filed in June 2013, and lists the inventor as Ilan Kroo of Stanford. There is no timetable for when the prototype will actually become a mass-produced reality.

Zee Aero, by the way, is reportedly funded by Google co-founder Larry Page. The new partnership is expected to bring lots of new jobs to the airport.
