Aircraft Spruce has expanded the number of Tanis preheaters it carries.

Tanis was the first to develop engine-mounted preheat systems for piston engines, offer helicopter preheat, turbine preheat, and the first manufacturer to meet requirements for FAA Supplemental Type Certification, according to Aircraft Spruce officials.

Tanis preheat kit contains threaded heat elements located in each cylinder assembly and pad heat elements for the engine crankcase/oil sump/oil tank. This multipoint configuration fully preheats the engine and attached accessories. Power is routed to the elements through a dedicated wiring assembly with LED system power indication and circuit overload protection standard.
