Tips:TTFnews:Ahead of this year's EBACE 2015 Astra Aviation, the UK-based African flight services provider, has ramped up its operations with a move to 24/7 office hours beginning on 1st of June. The decision to put a permanent night shift in place at its Johannesburg office aims to provide customers with improved support and immediate responses to inquiries and requests. The new full-time, year round office demonstrates Astra Aviation's commitment to support this growing part of its business.

Astra Aviation will also be marking ten years of operations in Africa when it makes its debut EBACE presence on the AfBAA pavilion booth A065. To celebrate the occasion Astra Aviation is offering any visiting delegate who signs up at EBACE a 10% discount on all Astra provided services for the 10 weeks following the European show.

As it marks its tenth year Phil Eyre, Director and Founder of Astra Aviation says "We are well known in the commercial and cargo sector and whilst we are active in the business aviation sector we want to further expand our client base. EBACE gives us a great opportunity to do so." Astra Aviation has been a member of AfBAA since the Association launched and will use its presence on the Africa Pavilion as an opportunity to network with African aviation stakeholders, present its wide array of flight support services and talk up its extensive knowledge of this vast continent's aviation activity.

The company was launched by Eyre from his spare room at home in 2005, consulting to African start-up airlines and ground handling agents. Since opening its first office in Angola the company has gone from strength to strength with offices following in Nigeria, Mauritius and Rwanda. Today it employs over 60 staff across eight African countries, Angola, Conakry Guinea, Cote D'Ivoire, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa and Zambia providing flight support services to business, cargo and commercial aviation.

Complementing its own team Astra Aviation has partners in a further 40 countries offering a range of flight support services including catering, crew services, fuelling, flight supervisor provision, ground handling, landing permits.

Astra Aviation invites all media to come and get a slice of the action when Phil Eyre will cut a celebratory cake on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at the AfBAA pavilion A065.
