On November 24th, a Zhi-9 helicopter equipped with an automatic door system and an automatic material delivery system from the Aviation Industry Hafei successfully completed the test flight verification task of the automatic material delivery system at the Pingfang Airport. The successful completion of the test flight verification indicates that Hafei has mastered the design technology of the helicopter's automatic door and material automatic delivery system, which is of great significance to enriching the use of civilian helicopters and enhancing market competitiveness.

In this test flight verification, the helicopter successfully completed the delivery of four 120 kg cargo containers loaded in the cabin at a speed of 80 km/h during the horizontal flight. The automatic delivery of materials by the helicopter in flight is the first time in China. Prior to this, Hafei organized a backbone of experts to form a research team, carried out collaborative research and independent innovation with relevant domestic manufacturers, and conquered key technologies such as automatic hatch opening and closing and automatic material delivery devices. This technology has the characteristics of simple operation, convenient maintenance, accurate delivery, etc., and fully realizes the functional goals of the predetermined system development.
