CHC Helicopter’s Heli-One is now an EASA-approved Leonardo AW139 base maintenance service provider in Poland, the company said. The facility in Rzeszow is also EASA-approved for tail assembly modifications and offers component repairs for the model.

Heli-One’s Poland facility offers a dozen base maintenance capabilities, including all levels of inspections and checks, full structural support, aircraft painting, avionics modifications and repairs, and other services. AW139 base maintenance and component repair services are also offered at Heli-One’s facilities in Delta, Canada, and Stavanger, Norway. The company also services Airbus Helicopters, Bell Helicopter and Sikorsky aircraft.

The Leonardo AW139 is an intermediate, twin-engine helicopter with both civil and military variants. It can fit one or two pilots with 15 passengers, with up to 6,724 lb of useful load. The rotorcraft features a Honeywell Primus Epic fully integrated avionics system and four-axis digital automatic flight control system.
