The Assn. of Air Medical Services’ Air Medical Transport Conference is set to take place this week from Dec. 13 to 15 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event had been postponed from its original date in late September due to rioting activity that had spurred in response to a fatal shooting of a man by a police officer.
The association’s website notes that registrations for those who were signed up for the September event are carried over to the new one. Its logo had been updated to reflect the change, reading “AMTC 2016 v2.0.”
A call for speakers had opened up last month for next year’s conference, which will be held Oct. 16 to 18 in Fort Worth, Texas.
