CAAC: China's General Aviation Fleet Reaches 1,987, Up 20%

Tips:TTFnews:In recent years, the development of general aviation industry is gaining more and more attentions. The industry thrives with a package of favorable policies issued by Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

According to the data up to March 2015, there are 246 general aviation enterprises in China, 57 more than 2013 at a growth rate of 26.5%. The total aircraft amount of general aviation fleets has reached 1,987 by the end of 2014, increased by 20.1% or 333 on the basis of 2013. With a year-on-year growth of 16% compared with 2013, the number of the employees in the industry is 13 thousand this year, introducing 1006 more people.


On May 6, CAAC general aviation leading group meeting was held in Beijing, wher Li Jiaxiang, Chief of the CAAC pointed out that main problems of China's general aviation lie in underdeveloped guarantee services of general airports and aviation fuel, incomplete laws and regulations system, lack of professional personnel and restricted airspace resources. It is urgent for Chinese aviation to carry out suitable strategies to facilitate general aviation to contribute to the whole social welfare.
