Philippines-based low-cost carrier (LCC) Cebu Pacific has ordered Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines to power two new Airbus A330-300 aircraft from a July 29 order.
The Philippines-based airline already operates six of the aircraft, all powered by the Trent 700. The order includes TotalCare long-term engine services, according to Rolls-Royce.
More than 1,600 Trent 700s are now in service or on firm order.
Cebu Pacific president and CEO Lance Gokongwei said the LCC has had a "great experience of the Trent 700 in service and we look forward to its continuous delivery of outstanding economics and performance for our operations."
