The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Air Safety Institute (ASI) has released a new video on safely flying multiengine aircraft.
“Taming the Twin: Four Rules for Safe Multiengine Flying” looks at proactive steps pilots can take to ensure a safe outcome on every multiengine flight.
“Few things in general aviation are as rewarding as piloting a multiengine aircraft,” said ASI Senior Vice President George Perry. “But with increased speed and complexity there also needs to be increased understanding, awareness, and proficiency. This video reinforces time-tested best practices for existing multiengine pilots and provides essential knowledge to pilots considering flying a multiengine aircraft.”
Taming the Twin: Four Rules for Safe Multiengine Flying was made possible by the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association and the Donner Canadian Foundation.
