Tips:TTFnews:Beijing General Aviation Jiangxi Helicopters Co., Ltd. broke ground on a new general aviation base in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province on May 16, marking the local's largest aviation project started construction.

Covering an area of 66,000 square meters, the plant is expected to achieve an annual output of 300 one-ton helicopters by 2020.

Jiangxi Helicopters was inaugurated on Jan. 15, 2015, with a total investment of 6 billion yuan from Beijing General Aviation Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Beijing Automotive Industry Group Co. Ltd. The company is reconstructed from Jiangxi Helicopter Industrial & Investment Co., Ltd., and aims to be a southern helicopter manufacturing base of BAIC Group.

A large number of high-quality aviation industries and projects will be settled in Jingdezhen following the construction of the helicopter base. It also marks a historic step of the city from a helicopter spare parts producer to a helicopter manufacturer and even a comprehensive general aviation industry base.
