Tips:Southern airlines paperless operation made a new breakthrough

Aircraft load balance manifest no longer need to send a single manual! China Southern Airlines (CSA) announced recently that its self-developed electronic cargo balance manifest (EFB manifest) not only realizes the electronic data of cargo manifest, but also realizes the electronic transmission of the last minute revision report of cargo manifest, which can be kept at the bottom, reviewed and rechecked. China Southern Airlines has also become the first airline in the industry to fully use electronic stowed manifest, marking a new breakthrough in the paperless operation of China Southern Airlines flights.

China Southern EFB manifest has been put into operation in 9 self-operated stations in Guangzhou, Changsha, Beijing, Guiyang and so on. As of December 1, China Southern Airlines EFB manifest has successfully guaranteed more than 3,000 flights, and the success rate of manifest transmission has reached more than 99%. After the full implementation, China Southern Airlines EFB manifest is expected to save more than 1.8 million pieces of paper and nearly 10 million yuan of telegraph transmission, paper and other costs in a year.

Aircraft stowing balance manifest is the core basis of flight flight, which needs to be made and amended according to the actual boarding and loading situation of passengers, baggage, cargo and mail. Its accuracy and timeliness are directly related to the safe and smooth operation of flight. In the past, most airlines produced manifests by manual entry system, by manual delivery or printing by onboard equipment, which introduced operational efficiency and paper use issues.

China Southern airlines last year officially launched the aircraft stowage manifest electronic project. Since January this year, Guangzhou Southern Airlines base in coordination with each station began to test the system. In the next step, China Southern Will try its best to put EFB manifest into operation in a large area and plan to add three more stations in Chongqing, Shenzhen and Shenyang. By then, China Southern's electronic manifest will guarantee more than 500 flights per day. China Southern Airlines will also provide strong guarantee for safe and smooth operation through EFB manifest and ACARS manifest "double channel" form.
