Information of TTFLY: Chinese drone manufacturer DJI is set to open an arena for drone pilots in South Korea this month.
The idea behind the more than 15,000-sq-ft arena is to allow customers to learn how to pilot drones. It will be located in Yongin, which is about 30 mi south of Korea's capital of Seoul.
The venue will include safety nets, an adjustable LED-lit circuit and a LCD TV for first-person viewing from the drone. Charging docks and a repair station will also be available. The arena can also act as a safe space for pilots to fly drones when weather does not permit it.
DJI opened its first overseas flagship store in Seoul in March.
